PURPOSE OF THE REPORT

To enable the Executive to make appointments to the Selby Area Internal Drainage Board.

2.0 SELBY AREA INTERNAL DRAINAGE BOARD
2.1 The Executive appoints to the Selby Area Internal Drainage Board. The council can appoint 11 members of the IDB. A vacancy has arisen as Martin Grainger, the council’s Head of Development Management, is no longer able to continue as a member of the IDB.
2.2 It is now recommended that the Chairman of Wistow PC, Councillor Robin Poskitt, be appointed to the vacant seat on the Board.
3.0 IMPLICATIONS
3.1 There are no equalities, finance, legal or climate change implications arising from the recommendations in this report.
